    • The Cyberbullying Research Center found that 34% of middle and high school students have been cyberbullied at least once in their lifetime.
  2. Impact on Mental Health:

    • Students who are victims of cyberbullying are more likely to experience anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts.
    • Pew Research Center survey revealed that 59% of U.S. teens have experienced some form of cyberbullying, with significant psychological consequences.
  3. Gender Differences:

    • Girls are more likely to experience cyberbullying than boys, especially in the form of spreading rumors or being the subject of mean comments.
    • Boys are more likely to engage in cyberbullying through physical threats.
  4. Platforms:

    • The most common platforms where cyberbullying occurs include Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and TikTok. Over 37% of teens have reported experiencing bullying through social media.
